Nano2Life Scientific Meeting
Nano2Life - The Visible Face of Nanobiotechnology

Heraklion, Crete, Greece, Jun 20th, 2008. About 120 researchers from the nanobiotechnology network Nano2Life (N2L) coming from 12 EU Member States or Associated Countries are expected to attend the last Nano2Life conference held in Heraklion, Crete, between 25–27 June. The meeting will take place in the Moevenpick Resort & Thalasso Hotel.

The conference will provide the chance for scientists to get informed about the accomplishments of objectives, to get know each other and to start planning for the future. Plenary lectures will be given by some top class scientists and business representatives on challenging topics from material sciences, drug delivery, pharmaceuticals and high tech industries, poster presentations and news from the network will be on the agenda of the meeting. People will have plenty of opportunities for discussions and exchange experiences, since a joint meeting for the FRONTIERS network and N2L will take place.

The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas is responsible for organizing and hosting the meeting.

Founded in 2004, N2L, the first European Commission-supported network of excellence in nanobiotechnology (NBT), comprises 23 major European organisations and associated industrial companies from the field of nanobiotechnology. N2L is the most active European network in NBT and has become the visible face of NBT in Europe.
