News from the NANOSAFE2 Project (VDI)

A news update of the European integrated project Nanosafe2 supported through the 6th framework programme for research and technological development of the European Commission has been published. The newsletter summarizes the results of the first two years of the project and gives an overview on the current project status.

NANOSAFE2 will develop safe and cost-effective measures to minimise exposure of workers, consumers and the environment to manufactured nanomaterials. It will also support a wide range of studies to evaluate current and future projected levels of ex-posure, the adequacy of current approaches to control exposure and propose meas-ures and recommendations for a responsible use of nanomaterials.
