Stakeholders want Information, Engagement and Regulatory Review

The proceedings of the European Commission conference on Nanotechnology: Safety for Success are published online.

The participating stakeholders highlighted three main concerns:

  1. Trustworthy information on products with nanomaterials should be made available;
  2. Meaningful public engagement on the basis of shared definitions;
  3. Ongoing regulatory reviews to provide guidance to industry on interpreting regulations and to provide public information on safety measures taken.
