The European Federation of Biotechnology established the first Section on NanoBiotechnology in conjunction with Nano2Life. The application fields of nanobiotechnology are similar to those traditionally addressed by biotechnology: medical or biological diagnosis, drug design, medical applications, food and environmental monitoring. The aim of the Nanobiotechnology Section of the European Federation of Biotechnology is to facilitate the diffusion of nanobiotechnology in the biotechnology industry.

GreenFacts’ objective is to bring complex scientific consensus reports on health and the environment to the reach of non-specialists. GreenFacts publishes clear and faithful summaries of existing scientific reports on environmental and health topics, firstly the GreenFacts Digests, summaries of scientific consensus reports, and secondly the GreenFacts Co-Publications, published at the request of a contracting organization.

NanoMission is a cutting edge engaging learning experience which educates players about basic concepts in nanoscience through real world practical applications from microelectronics to drug delivery. The demo of the first module, nanomedicine, compels the player to select a suitable vehicle to deliver an anti cancer compound, and then navigate through the bloodstream to the site of the tumour, while avoiding the bodies' natural defence mechanisms.
