ProGenosis is a biotechnology company devoted in determination of proteins interactions. The proprietary technology platform is dedicated to develop efficient, innovative and convenient Bi-functional Hybrid Proteins (BHP) which can be used for protein domain studies.
The proprietary technology platform simplifies the complexity of the receptor-ligand interaction environment into a manageable unit that are suitable for laboratory studies. We offer the opportunity to use a convenient and functional research approach for displaying polypeptide or protein domain within an enzymatic scaffold.
ProGenosis creates Bi-functional Hybrid Proteins which associates a high turn over enzyme scaffold with a definite biological activity.
The ProGenosis' technology platform involves the insertion of polypeptide (protein, protein fragments, protein domain, oligopeptide, ...) within the native structure of an enzyme scaffold.
This new approach provides a means of displaying the exogenous polypeptide in the three-dimensional environment of a functional carrier enzyme. The exogenous polypeptide is reconstructed as a biologically active molecule.
As for as "nano to life" is concern, the preservation of protein activity and uniformity in an array is critical for accurate protein profiling. The BHP technology ensures that the printed proteins are functional and presented in a similar one-way orientation above the surface, thereby maximizing the opportunity for protein sites to interact with binding partners.
